The Afe Babalola Centre for Transnational Education was established in 2023 following a £10 million donation from Nigerian philanthropist and educationalist Aare Afe Babalola. Inspired by his own journey through distance learning and his lifelong commitment to education, the Centre seeks to transform access to higher education and employment for underserved African youth. Its target is to reach 1 million work-ready, change-making African youth through accessible, affordable, high-quality education and training.Today, we’re working to understand the real experiences, goals and needs of young people across Africa. Your voice will help us design learning programmes through the ABC that genuinely support you, your future and your community. The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete and there are five sections in total. Prize Draw Participants who complete the full survey will have the option to enter a prize draw as a thank you for their time. The prize draw includes the following awards: Learning Support Prize (2 winners) Worth up to USD $500 for online courses, learning tools, certification tools and more. Digital Marketplace Voucher (5 winners) Worth up to USD $100 to spend at a reputable online retailer (e.g. Jumia, Takealot, or a locally relevant alternative).
